การพบ H.pylori ในgastric mucosa และสามารถทำให้หายไป หลังจาก eradication treatment

พบบ่อยใน age, cigarette , inversely with wealth
Britaish -พบได้ 16%
orphanages พบถึง 75% Thailand
มี H.pylori พบ DU 32% , GU 28%
H.pylori มักจะพบ normally global stomah , แต่ histo change โดยเฉพาะที่ gastric antrum ,และมี glandular destruction ,polymorph and lymphocyte infiltration deeper than epithelium
– มี intestinal metaplasia , gastric erosion
ถ้าไม่รักษา และเกิด chronic , persistent infection -> เกิด gastric carcinoma , ischemic heart ได้
หลังจาก eradicate พบมาี re-infection ไม่บ่อย, ประมาณ 1% ต่อปี
