1 Introduction
p 1, 40 ปีที่ผ่านมา varicella zoster ยังคบ fascinate , frustrate , excite
1.1 Fascination – virus ยังคง survive ใน isolate communities , เกิด 2 โรค
❂ varicellar (Chicken pox) อีสุกอีใส , spread like wildfire ผ่านทาง เด็ก แต่ไม่ทำให้ถึงกับ ตาย หรอื serious complication
– แต่เกิด persistence , host immunity
– virusหายไปใน nervous system – dorsal , trigeminal ganglia
– อยู่ไปอีก 50 ปี , vigilant-ระมัดระวัง immune , -> เหมือน Rip Van Winkle, หลับแล้วฟื้นขึ้นอีก 20 ปี ทุกอย่างปป
– เมื่อ immune เริ่มลดลง เกิด erupting age 60yr
– คนแก่ grandmother มักพบข้างเดียว forhead , thorax -> เกิด varicelliform rash , burning , shock-like pain , blindness , facial scarrig ,

– rx ac rash , pain of herpes zoster โดย antivirals, analgesics
