HSV 2 ประมาณ 1.6 ล้านปี
human and virus เข้าสู่ homeostasis , มีความพยายามจะ clear virus ในขณะที่ virus ก็พยายามจะอยู่กับ immune response
– และมีผลจาก genetic defect ใน immune response ด้วย
– first line ในการ defect microbes คือ innate immunity
– HSV turn mechanism เป็น neutralized กับ host response
ทั้ง HSV-1 , HSV-2 ทำให้เกิด ulcerative lesion of oral โดยเฉพาะ type1 , ส่วน type 2 จะพบที่ genital (แต่ตรงนี้ type 1 ก็พบมากขึ้น )
