Assessment and Correction of Drooping Eyebrows
Drooping eyebrows can narrow the space between the brows and eyes, giving a sad appearance. To determine if you have drooping eyebrows:
- Palpate the Orbital Bone:
- Feel the raised, hard part of the orbital bone and compare it to your eyebrow level.
- For men: The eyebrow should align with the orbital bone edge.
- For women: The eyebrow should be above the orbital bone edge.
- If lower, it indicates drooping.
Brow Lift Surgery Process
A small surgical incision above the eyebrow raises the muscle and secures it with a sling to the periosteum, naturally lifting the brow. This procedure also benefits mild eyelid drooping, enhancing the overall appearance.

Post-Surgery Care
- Use local anesthesia; the procedure takes about 1 hour.
- After surgery, apply cold compresses for 2-3 days to reduce swelling.
- Stitches are removed after 7 days, followed by scar treatment to fade marks gradually.
