Rosid Clade
ใน eudicots มี 2 members ใหญ่ๆ แบ่ง clades เป็น -> Rosids and Asterids
Rosid clade -เป็น rose order Rosales , มีหลายๆ families
มาอยู่ในกลุ่มนี้ โดยดูที่ vegetative body flowers , chemistry , ecology แต่เห็นจากภายนอกยาก
rosidมีหลายๆ small orders , และ 2 large group
– small order มี few members แต่มีผลทาง economic สูง
– Vitaceae , เป็น grape family ,
Vitis เป็น genus grape , ให้ juise , raisin
Vitis vinifera เป็น wine grape , แม้ว่าจะมีไวน์หลายชนิด แต่พวกนี้เกิดจากแค่ one species
2 large clades of rosids คือ
– Fabids (Eurosids I )
– Malvid’s (Eurosids II )
ทั้งสอง clades นี้ ประกอบด้วยเป็นร้อยๆ families
rosids นี้ ถือว่า more derived มากกว่า basal tricolpate แตกต่างกับพวก Caryophyllales
และตัว rosids ถือว่าสำคัญ เพราะมันมี highly relictual feature มากกว่าในหลายๆ basal angiosperms
