p 1094 , dermatitis- epidermal inflam
ผ่าน 3 stages – Ac = epidermal spongiosis c erythema , vesicles , bullae , weeping
– subac = erythema , scaling , crusts , excoriation
– ch = epidermal thickening , scaling , excoriation , lichenification , prurigo
DDx – allergic skin disease , psoriasiform dermatitis ,
genodermatosis , neoplastic disease , metabolic disease ,
nonallergic disease

skin biopsy r/o – neoplastic disease , infection , psoriasiform dermatitis , drug eruption
แต่ถ้าจะDDx ACD, ICD , atopic ไม่ค่อยต้องทำ biopsy
p 1095 , II Irritant contact dermatitis – common กว่า allergy
atopic pt จะมี low irritancy threshold – เช่น wool clothing ทำให้คัน – และพวกนี้จะมี epidermal barrier fn ลดลง
– increase transepidermal water loss in uninvolved skin
ถ้า skin barrier fn ถูก breach -การ repeat low-grade irritant จะ prevent healing – เป็นเหตุผล recur dermatitis at site previous involve
