12.2 Theory of Operation
Thermodynamic ระหว่าง electrosurgery
– tissue temp เพิ่มขึ้นจาก normal ไปยัง 45* ในเวลาสั้น
– Tissue volume – ทั้ง microscopic and macroscopic ไม่มีการเปลี่ยแปลง
แต่อาจจะมี some cytochemical เปลี่ยนแปลงได้ , แต่จะ reversible ได้เมื่อ temp กลับมา normal
– ถ้าเกิน 45* – เกิด irreversible , cell death
– 45-60* protein จะเสีย quaternary configuration , solidity -> กลายเป็น glutinous คล้ายๆต้มไข่ขาว
– คำว่า coagulation มาจากจำว่า tissue blanching ลวก
– ถ้าถึง 100* ทำให้ drying , aqueous cell evaporate -> cell desiccation
– >100* solid contents ใน cell ลดลง กลายเป็น -> carbon เรียกว่า Carbonization
– นอกจาก อุณหภูมิที่มีผลกับ cell , แล้ว ระยะเวลา lenght of exposure to heat ก็มีผล ตามสูตร mathematically of – Arrhenious relationship
